The King

The Bible says that Jesus is the King of kings and the Lord of lords in Revelation 19:16. He is the bright and morning star in Revelation 22:16. He is the alpha and the omega in Revelation 22:13. He rules and reigns over all creation. He was born of a virgin, lived a perfect life, gave up His life for the sins of the world and rose from the grave with the keys to death hell and the grave. You don't have a kingdom without a king and He is the greatest king ever.

His Domain

A king is ruler over a domain or territory. According to Psalm 103:19 Jesus' domain is the entire universe. That includes planet earth. He has given humans (both men and women) authority to steward the earth. We are to work, protect and keep the earth and everything that creeps and crawls in it. We are lords (lowercase) over what the King has entrusted to us. We are held accountable for what is allowed and not allowed in this earth and will be judged accordingly.

His People

God has chosen mankind and unlike anything else in all of creation we were created in His image. According to Genesis 1:26 We are made in His image and likeness. 2 Corinthians 6:18 tells us that we are His sons and daughters. And like a good father He loves us dearly. So much so that He gave up His one begotten Son to save each of us. His will was is and always will be to dwell with us. He is a holy God and His very presence destroys sin like light penetrates through darkness. He wants a people who are holy like He is.

Therefore we need His love, light and ways inside of us. So He sent His Spirit to do just that, live inside of us. By His Spirit we are made into His people. No matter our ethnicity, gender, or income He desires for His Spirit to live inside of you and lead you in paths of righteousness.

As His people, we focus on the harvest of souls. Our Lord said, " He said to his disciples, “The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.” — Matthew 9:38

Wherever we go, the harvest is reap and ready for us. Let's ask the Lord send us by grace to go work in his fields. He will strengthen and equip us in the new era.
